At Craven, supporting people and strengthening communities is central to what we do. That’s why we’re proud to become a patron of Skipton-based children’s charity, The Principle Trust, helping provide life-changing respite breaks to children and families across Yorkshire. For families facing disability, trauma, poverty or serious illness, safety, wellbeing and stability matter; values that sit at the heart of our work with businesses every day

Based in Embsay, Skipton, Craven  supports small and medium-sized businesses across the UK with practical HR, Health & Safety, Environmental, Training and Software solutions, helping organisations build safer, stronger and more confident workplaces.

Alongside supporting businesses nationally, the team is actively involved in the local business community, including hosting Craven Business Expo;  an annual exhibition and networking event for Yorkshire businesses; and the Business Bees quarterly networking events.

Announcing the partnership, Liz commented, “We are delighted to partner The Principle Trust and support their work helping disadvantaged families to escape their everyday troubles and create precious, happy memories.”

Mike Davies added, “Thanks to the generosity of businesses like Craven, The Principle Trust can continue to support some of the Yorkshire region’s most disadvantaged families.”

Since launching in 2011, The Principle Trust has raised over £1.7 million and provided respite breaks to more than 5,000 children across Yorkshire. This year alone, around 200 families will benefit from much-needed time away together.

We’re proud to support The Principle Trust’s incredible work and to play a small part in helping Yorkshire families create precious memories, rest, and resilience for the future.
